First and foremost I am a visual artist with a passion for painting murals, faux painting, drawing, sculpting, and anything that utilizes my creativity. I currently decorate homes, paint murals, faux paint, and design for a living. For me it's not only a dream, it's what I was born to do.
In addition to art, I was influenced by music very early on and would write my own original songs and try to teach myself piano and guitar even as a very young child. When I was 13 I took formal guitar lessons and fell headfirst in love with the world of music. Then I immersed myself in alternative rock, The Beatles, Elton John, Tori Amos, The Smashing Pumpkins, Portishead, classical sounds, experimental music, old movies, nature, and any original music i could get my hands on.
Inspired and wanting to share my own unique music with the world, I developed the sounds of Charfish - Sensual, seductive smooth vocals layered with haunting guitars, soothing piano, old classic melodies fused into occasional electronic mixings creating that one of a kind soulful sound that is Charfish. I take the same approach to my music as I do with my art with outside the box original creations that stimulate the heart and mind.
Other jobs, hobbies and pleasures include but are not limited to floral design, jewelry making, sculpting, faux painting, traveling, writing, reading, running, exploring nature, and cooking.
